Benefit from restorative therapy, a combined approach to recovery.

Available to both short-term and long-term residents, restorative therapy is a combination of rehabilitation and nursing skills and includes range of motion exercises, walking, stretching and assistance with activities of daily living. This program helps residents retain their level of functioning, restore their independence and enhance their quality of life. A designated trained professional, in close coordination with the registered nurse assigned to the resident, delivers the resident's program, provides their care and monitors their progression. Oversight is provided by the Nursing Director and close communication is maintained with the rehabilitation department to ensure optimal goals are reached for each resident.

The Role of Your RN Case Manager

Our RN Case Managers enjoy both the gratification of patient care and the rewarding challenge of leadership. From the moment a patient is admitted to Dove Healthcare - West Eau Claire, to the day they go home, a RN Case Manager plays a fundamental role in making sure each patient receives person-centered care. RN Case Managers must evaluate the patient's health status; facilitate the preparation of an individualized plan of care; and manage the implementation of nursing services in order to meet the patient's healthcare needs.

Receive support from our Director of Nursing.

Your pharmacy needs will be managed by our nursing department during your stay. We work directly with your primary physician to ensure your medication regimen is both safe and effective. Our pharmacy consultant conducts regular safety reviews of your medications.

Nurse Call System

At the touch of a button, you will feel confident knowing our caregivers have been immediately informed of your request for assistance. Through our advanced nurse call system, our caregivers are notified of every resident's need in the order in which each call was placed. We have streamlined the process through the integration of wireless phones and pagers that receive a message for every call based on pre-set priority and timed levels.

Touch Screens

Point of care touch screens allow our caregivers to efficiently document care immediately after it has been provided to you. The screens are strategically located throughout our neighborhood hallways and dining rooms. Most importantly, this technology increases the amount of time our caregivers can spend with you.
